21 Φεβ 2023 · The U.S. Department of Agriculture (“Department”) announces adjusted income eligibility guidelines to be used by state agencies in determining the income eligibility of persons applying to participate in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Families receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF are income-eligible for the Indiana WIC Program. If you are not a member of these other programs, check the income chart below to see if your family might qualify.
In some situations, you may be automatically income eligible if you or a family member is currently receiving benefits from other state programs including SNAP (Food stamps), TANF or Medicaid. Review the North Carolina Income Eligibility Guidelines below.
25 Μαρ 2024 · Income eligibility for the WIC program is determined using income standards as prescribed under Section 9 (b) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (42 USC 1758 (b)). The income limit is 185 percent of the Federal poverty guidelines, as adjusted.

Once the size and gross income of the economic unit have been determined and documented, staff use the Federal poverty guidelines included in the chart below to determine income eligibility. The guidelines are published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
