This allows BLAST searches to be performed on local platforms against databases downloaded from NCBI or created locally.

32-bit Windows. NCBI Blast+ 2.3.0 or later does not support 32-bit Windows. Even though 64-bit NCBI Blast+ will not start on 32-bit Windows, it can be installed on 32-bit Windows because of the lack of the OS version check function.
