The Neff Estate includes three historic buildings: Neff Home, George House, and The Neff Barn. The Neff residence was built in 1894 as headquarters for the ranch. All three buildings are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Neff Park covers ten acres and includes three historic buildings, a gazebo, basketball court, tennis court, horseshoes pits, a playground, and picnic areas. The historic buildings include: Neff Home, George House, and Neff Barn.
23 Οκτ 2024 · The Historic Neff Estate is open for tours on the third Saturday of every month from 2-4 p.m. The tours are provided by the La Mirada Historical Preservation Advisory Council. All tours are free, however donations to aid the restoration efforts are welcome.
26 Απρ 2013 · The George House is unfurnished and houses a few display cases showcasing La Mirada history. Did you know La Mirada had an olive industry? The barn has been updated as a comunity center but does have displays of historic artifacts like these awesome milk bottles.
26 Δεκ 2020 · The Neff Estate in La Mirada was part of Andrew McNally's Windemere Ranch that he deeded to son-in-law Edwin Neff and daughter Nanny. The "ranch house," foreman's house and carriage house were built in the 1890s.
