Negeri Perlis Indera Kayangan (atau Perlis Darul Sunnah) merupakan negeri yang terkecil di Malaysia. Ia terletak di utara Semenanjung Malaysia dan bersempadan dengan Provinsi Satun dan Songkhla, Thailand di sebelah utara, dan Kedah di sebelah selatan.
Perlis is known as the only state in Malaysia which declares itself as not bound to adhere to the Shafi`ite madhhab in practising Islamic law. This is a result of Islamic reformism, better known in Perlis as Ahlus Sunnah, which is fairly dominant in the state.
Dari segi sejarah, Perlis adalah negeri di bawah naungan negeri Kedah. Bukti-bukti prasejarah yang terdapat di Bukit Tengku Lembu di Beseri menunjukkan kewujudan negeri ini.
Sebelum kemunculan gerakan Islah atau Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah Perlis, negeri itu sama seperti negeri-negeri lain di Nusantara yang mana masyarakat Islam pada umumnya mengikut aliran Syaft'eyyah.

Perlis merupakan sebuah negeri yang terletak di utara Semenanjung Malaysia bersempadan dengan negara Thailand di utara, negeri Kedah di selatan dan Selat Melaka di barat. Perlis mempunyai keluasan sebanyak 819 kilometer persegi menjadikannya sebagai negeri terkecil di Malaysia.
