12 Απρ 2008 · First, put the parking brake on and put the gearshift in Neutral to make it easier to work on. Then, with a pair of pliers padded with cloth or whatever you think works best, twist the plastic collar under the knob counter clockwise. It seems to require only a small turn, perhaps 1/8th or so.

16 Νοε 2020 · You will need to remove the shift knob at some point, so here's a good place for me to show you how to do that. Seen above, arrowed in red, is the set screw that holds it on. You need a 2.5mm Allen wrench or screwdriver bit. Loosen that up, push the button on the side of the knob, and pull the knob straight off.
