The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care building will open to patients in July. The final phase will be a 144-bed acute care hospital featuring a 24-hour emergency department, which will open in 2025.
The UCI Health — Irvine Acute Care Hospital, coming in 2025, will include a seven-story, 350,000-square-foot, 144-bed hospital offering 10 operating suites, a laboratory, advanced imaging, pharmacy and blood bank.
