22 Απρ 2024 · STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced on Saturday he would be adding two additional New York City Police Department police academy classes to the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Executive Budget.
Runners who do not have guaranteed entry to the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon can apply to the non-guaranteed general entry drawing during the application period (dates TBD), and the drawing for these entries will take place following the application period.
Hiring Process. Requirements. Qualifying Age: The minimum age of appointment is 21 years old. However, candidates are eligible to take the Police Officer's Entrance Exam at seventeen and one half (17½) years old. Candidates must register to take the Entrance Exam prior to their 35th birthday.
