The price of a single ticket on the New York subway is US$ 2.90. If you plan to use public transport frequently, we recommend paying with OMNY, as from the 12th trip onwards the weekly fare will be US$ 34.80. Until the end of 2024, you can still use the MetroCard, which is valid for the subway and buses.
