18 Φεβ 2013 · I bought the Nexus 4 over the S3. Personally I don't like the TouchWiz interface on the S3. The N4 is about half the price for similar specs. You get quicker OTA updates for the N4 with pure Android. The design is nicer IMO. For me, the only thing lacking on the N4 is expandable external memory, but 16GB has been sufficient so far
- BUT - software updates directly from Google - better camera, processor, bluetooth, screen... Some threads on this forum DO seem to suggest that Nexus 4 would be "upgrade" from S3...
1 Δεκ 2021 · No. I basically don't see any real improvements that would justify an upgrade cost. I understand that there are "under the hood" updates that expansions going forward will make use of, but truth be told, I haven't bought "new" expansions in a few years.
NEXUS4 is compatible with all your existing NEXUS projects and libraries. You can load your old beats into your DAW and load the sounds you've had before. Everything just works.
