Story. After a prologue (Nightmare House 1) where the player crashes his car in front of the haunted house, he is confronted by numerous undead and falls unconcious, he then wakes and finds himself in a padded room of an asylum.

Nightmare House was originally released as a map pack, and later as an installable mod with Nightmare House 2. You can still find the original files over on our Moddb page. Today, you can simply install "Nightmare House: The Original Mod" for free using a Steam client and Half Life 2.
This chapter is a remake of Nightmare House 1, the short 2005 Half-Life 2 mod. Only this time, with custom assets, sounds, models, everything. It was absolutely horrifying, you really gotta experience it yourself.
