22 Σεπ 2009 · Yesterday when I was trying out the D300s and 400mm AF-S II combo I was impressed with how well and quickly it aquired even distant flying birds, mainly seagulls and ducks, thats all I had available. The D300 in that scenario was not that good for sure.
The D300 has better color, better highlights, better shadows, it's sharper because it fixes lens flaws, and its superior AF system and viewfinder free us to compose more freely than any previous camera. The D300 shares these innovations with its nearly identical $5,000 big brother, the D3.
