The problem is that when I connect the D90 to my PC through a USB cable, it won't be recognized. Before I tried, I downloaded the files available on Nikon's website to the D90 camera and installed everything on my W10 PC.
So, recently I installed the qDSLRDashboard on my Windows 10 Laptop and connected my old Nikon D90 with its original USB cable to the laptop. The laptop recognized the D90, I pressed the USB button and all I got was the message "Searching for USB devices".
The test signing mode may start if an installed program is in a test phase because it uses drivers that are not digitally signed by Microsoft. Microsoft added test mode to Windows so that users can test programs without having to provide an authentication certificate.

9 Μαΐ 2012 · When I shoot portraits indoors, I'd like the option to tether my Nikon D90 to a Windows computer with the USB cable, both to view the results and help adjust the lighting, but also to be making an instant backup of each shot. Does anybody have a favorite solution to this?
25 Απρ 2010 · The most obvious thing to try is to turn your computer off and then restart it. Windows may just be having a little tantrum. Try a different USB cable if you have one. Download Nikon Tansfer ( a free download from Nikon) and try that. It is a great pice of software and is fully customisable.
28 Νοε 2011 · Is there a way to hook my camera up to a computer or LCD monitor in live mode so I can focus off the monitor or computer screen? (I looked in my D90 for Dummies book which is pretty good but does not cover this subject)
