10 Φεβ 2019 · All manual focus Nikkors are what we now call FX lenses – they were designed for use with 35mm film, and produce an image circle that will cover the “full frame” sensor of FX DSLRs. Of course, they will also work with Nikon DX cameras, subject to the normal 1.5X “crop factor” that is well-known to DX photographers.

2 Ιουλ 2020 · The rubber focus ring is large and very smooth to operate. There are only two switches on the side of the lens – one for switching from autofocus with manual focus override (M/A) to manual focus (M), and one for limiting focus from full to infinity – 3 meters.
12 Νοε 2023 · Between using single-point AF and subject detection alone, manual focus is unbelievably quick and easy, but two additional standard features are also available: focus zoom and focus peaking.
While Nikon has the worst AF of the big three camera makers, it has the best manual focus system. A unique feature of Nikon is that you may move the focus ring at any time for instant manual-focus override.
