I have it. We got it as a gift ~2 years ago. I have not used it to grind meat, but I'm pretty sure it would work. The motor on the full size is strong. It works well, I have no complaints. I make fantastic biscuits with it.
The motor is 1500 watts or 2 HP which is the same power as a Vitamix but for a fraction of the price. I use it almost everyday, whether its using the small blender to grind whole spices like black pepper, cumin, coriander or just using it for small blending applications.
