9 Σεπ 2018 · The Nintendo DSi has somehow returned to the hacking scene, and as of now, no proper tools exist that can install DSiWare. This short tutorial will show you how to play DSiWare without TWiLightMenu++, by installing the DSiWare onto your main menu.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean 'buried down in the depths of TM', you can put Game Boy and DS ROMs in the same folder with TWiLight Menu++ and since it loads to the last opened folder you should be able to just put everything in the same folder and be good.
