17 Οκτ 2024 · Very easy to fix. Replace the screen and properly adjust it for the new screen... ok, not so easy. Though, I do suspect DS Lites are coming with some mal-adjusted screens (I've noticed random pixels drifting off color over time since I have had my lite.)

Make sure you are flipping up the retaining flap, not the socket itself. Use the tip of a spudger to pull the touchscreen ribbon cable straight out of its socket.
replacing the digitizer is surprisingly easy if you haven't looked into it. i replaced my DSi non-xl's digitizer last week and besides my shitty alignment, because it was my first time, it's good as new!

So the measured value of 56R could be correct.
