6 Ιουλ 2011 · Can the 1 ton leafs be bolted into the 3/4 ton? How about a total rear end and suspension swap? If it is doable without a lot of headache, I will then search for a front end totaled 3500 to do the swap.
I swap my light duty 1/2 ton 6452 front springs to the big block 3/4 ton and 1 ton 6454 Heavy Duty Springs
29 Αυγ 2007 · Just get the 4 leaf 2500 springs and get rid of the overload. It will ride better than an add a leaf in the old 1500 springs. And give you the 1.5 to 2 inches you want. If you want more height put a flat overload in from a Suburban or Tahoe. It'll give you another 1/2 inch.

29 Αυγ 2010 · So although you can move the hangers to change your spring size, you must use K hangers for the K frame, and C hangers for the C frame. Very simple if whatever truck you are working on, simply use the same hangers on the truck you are working on, and they can be relocated without any fabbing or welding whatsoever.
7 Ιουλ 2012 · I gather there are overload springs one can install, so a 3/4 ton could be as good if the axles are the same. Also, is there a goodplace to look up specs on used Duramaxes? Thanks.
6 Μαΐ 2013 · I've got a 3/4 ton extended cab that gets used a lot to haul wood and a couple different trailers. It seems that the rear springs are getting really weak and I'm wandering if I can just replace with a set of 1 ton?
