Great Brook Farm State Park! Located only 25 miles from downtown Boston, Great Brook Ski Touring Center provides over 10 miles of machine-groomed trails for cross country skiing from December 1 to March 31, snow conditions permitting.

But if you live near the Public Lands in Framingham, Mass., you’re in luck: There are three parks with groomed trails within city limits, two of which allow Nordic skiers. And if you don’t mind venturing farther, you’ll find a handful of other great cross-country ski centers and groomed trail systems within about an hour’s drive of town.
