Dave Prowse was married to his wife Norma for 57 years. Born Norma E. Scammell in January 1942, Norma grew up in the small town of Filton, near Bristol in South Gloucestershire. Norma met her future husband Dave at The Glen dance hall in Bristol, where as a young man he worked as a bouncer.
David Charles Prowse MBE (1 July 1935 – 28 November 2020) was an English actor, bodybuilder, strongman and weightlifter. [1] . He portrayed Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy and a manservant in Stanley Kubrick 's 1971 film A Clockwork Orange.

19 Μαΐ 2023 · Norma E Scammell is famously known as the wife of Dave Prowse, the Bristolian former bodybuilder best known for playing Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy. Prowse was cast as Vader for his imposing physique, even though the role was voiced by James Earl Jones.
