12 Φεβ 2012 · The Norman guitars are my favorite of the Godin acoustics -- I don't own one, but I have several friends who do. I'm not sure I'd compare them to Taylor in terms of tone (I'd say they're more of a Martin style), but they're definitely a great guitar for the money.

This gives the guitar a unique, punchy midrange tone and makes it easier to play and transport. Early American blues and folks artists preferred them for these reasons — plus they often were more affordable than dreadnoughts.

1 Οκτ 2003 · No matter, the Norman has it's own sound and that sound is good. Guild makes the best 12 string guitars, Martin makes the best 6 string guitars, and the rest are just that. Specifically speaking, the neck of the Norman is just a bit larger than the Guild F-412. I find the Norman a little weak in it's treble.
19 Φεβ 2021 · At the top of Norman's line is the Studio range, tipping the scales at just over a grand. It's a slightly trimmer collection, with just six models offered - five dreadnoughts, including two cutaways, and this lone folk-size, which is also the one to come with a slotted headstock and no pickguard.
3 Φεβ 2018 · The Norman is a great guitar, you really can’t go wrong. I’d suggest you check out a Seagull too. The neck shape is a little different on the standard S6 and you might prefer it over the Norman.

Our B18 is very cleanly built with the unusual pairing of solid cedar for the top and laminated wild cherry for the back and sides.
