12 Φεβ 2012 · Have any of you ever played a Norman guitar? It is a Canadian brand of guitars. I picked one up and played one the other day and was surprised by how similar they sound to a Taylor, but cost a fraction of the price.
1 Οκτ 2003 · My Norman is as good as acoustic guitar as I have played. Very durable too (survived college with me and my liver). In other words my acoustic needs are more than meet. I have played with other guitar players playing Martins, and Gibsons and the Norman is just as good. I am tickled with the guitar. Does anyone famous play Normans?
The top, back and sides are made of a three-way lamination of wild cherry. The bridge and fretboard are rosewood. The nut and saddle are TUSQ by Graphtech. Additional options include a TRIC case and a Fishman Isys + electronics system with built-in EQ and tuner.

It's a slightly trimmer collection, with just six models offered - five dreadnoughts, including two cutaways, and this lone folk-size, which is also the one to come with a slotted headstock and no pickguard.
