nProtect GameGuard (sometimes called GG) is an anti-cheating rootkit developed by INCA Internet. It is widely installed in many online games to block possibly malicious applications and prevent common methods of cheating.
10 Σεπ 2018 · GameGuards only work on legitimate players. Bots don't even load the normal client (and thus, don't load GameGuard/etc anyway) in the first place. Furthermore, GameGuard doesn't even work at blocking hacks. They're just invasive rootkit trash.
25 Απρ 2012 · #1. In order to use a system such as NProtect GameGuard, you need to actually understand how it works first. Once you grasp the workings of it, you can then use the same system to protect your own server. Defeating and Emulating INCA NProtect GameGaurd.
4 Νοε 2016 · Get GNISoft to install an Anti-Cheat Toolkit like HackShield or GameGuard. When Metal Assault was first launched before you guys, it had nProtects GameGuard which was very effective in eliminating hacking activity and server lag caused from it.
8 Φεβ 2024 · Since a lot of people don't understand why nProtect is bad when do many play games with other anticheats etc. and I see my posts about it secretly disappearing, here's a general info what's going on with it.
