Students, male and female, of any baccalaureate degree course or at least two (2)-year technical-vocational courses in public and private educational institutions shall be required to complete one (1) of the NSTP components as requisite for graduation (RA 9163).
• All students are required to complete a two-term National Service Training Program (NSTP) in any of the following service components: Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC), Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), and Literacy Training Service (LTS) ENROLLMENT.
Student downloads Form 6a (add/drop/change form) from the Office of the Registrar’s website website. Student fills out the form and emails it to the concerned NSTP Office for approval: office.nstp@ust.edu.ph for CWTS and LTS, rotc@ust.edu.ph for ROTC. The concerned NSTP Office returns the signed Form 6a to the student;
The National Service Training Program (NSTP) is a civic education and defense preparedness program for students instituted by the Government of the Philippines on November 13, 2009, by virtue of Republic Act 9163, otherwise known as the "National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001."
10 Σεπ 2019 · This is designed to train students in teaching literacy and numeracy skills to schoolchildren, out-of-school youths and other citizens in need of their services, including prison inmates. This article looks into the application of NSTP-LTS at New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.
Each of the NSTP components shall be undertaken for an academic period of two (2) terms for 54-90 training hours per term. It shall be credited three (3) units per term. Some classes may be held on Saturdays or Sundays. The successful completion of the NSTP is a prerequisite for graduation.
