Hi seniors I'm currently deciding between nus and ntu at the moment and one of the criteria I'm looking at is the s/u system. From what I know ntu only allows you to decide before your results are out vs nus which is after.
NU of S has rolled out its new S/U policy that allows students to S/U AFTER seeing their results at the END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR instead of end of semester. Whereas our school still stick with the archaistic S/U policy.
In NUS you can S/U any level-1000 and most (or in some cases almost all) level-2000 modules including core modules. You cannot S/U any level-3000 and level-4000 modules. You also make the choice to exercise the S/U option after getting your results. In NTU you cannot S/U core modules.
