DeMeco Ryans (/ d ɪ ˈ m iː k oʊ / dih-MEE-koh; born July 28, 1984) is an American professional football coach and former linebacker who is the head coach of the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL).
McDaniel was an offensive assistant for the Houston Texans from 2006-08 where he worked under three different offensive coordinators in three seasons – Troy Calhoun (2006), Mike Sherman (2007) and Kyle Shanahan (2008). His first NFL coaching position came as a coaching intern with the Denver Broncos in 2005.

Michael Lee McDaniel (born March 6, 1983) is an American professional football coach who is the head coach of the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). A former long-time assistant and descendant of the Shanahan coaching tree, McDaniel began his NFL coaching career as an intern for the Denver Broncos in 2005.
