1 Οκτ 2024 · I'm glad you have had a good experience with the Oceanic+ software. Normally I'm an Apple fanboy: I type this from my Apple MacBook Pro with my Apple Watch 8 (not ultra) on my wrist, and an iPhone 14 Pro Max beside me - ok I'm behind a generation (almost 2), but you get my point.

25 Ιουν 2024 · Monday, November 28, 2019: The Oceanic Plus app is now available. This app turns the Apple Watch Ultra into a real dive computer. We have tested and reviewed the app in-depth and updated the article.
30 Δεκ 2022 · I usually charged the watch during dinner time, and had between 20% and 30% left. Also wearing it over night for sleep tracking. Unfortunately there are still a lot of small to big problems with the Oceanic+ app…. If you purchase the dive mode, the watch will remain in snorkel mode.

The source for this data is the Apple Watch hardware itself, not the Oceanic+ app. Meaning, the Apple Watch Ultra is recording and putting this data in Apple Health in the same manner as heart rate readings.
