Also, the film portrays college students on a road trip. While nothing graphic is said or seen, one student references having too much to drink the previous night.
Earnest and well-meaning, OCTOBER BABY will most likely appeal to a Christian audience that already shares its guiding principles. A warm-hearted romance, good performances, and solid production values are marred by a slow pace, overly literal music choices, and illogical story elements.
OCTOBER BABY has a very strong Christian, moral worldview that’s anti-abortion and that demonstrates the forgiveness that can only be found in Jesus Christ. The subject matter requires caution for younger children.

The music score is not exactly in unison with my tastes, but the lyrics in and of themselves are nice and the theme, “Life Is Beautiful”, supports the overarching moral of the story.
