Of note, 22 of the squads coming to Cedar Falls also finished in the top 4 of their association's National Championships last season (NAIA Men 1st - 4th; NAIA Women 1st - 4th; NCAA D2 Men 1st - 3rd; NCAA D3 Men 1st - 4th; NCAA Women 1st - 4th; and NCWA Men 1st - 3rd).
