The Bucharest University of Economic Studies has organized Distance Learning study programs since 1998 to respond to demands from working professionals interested in completing their studies in a modular format, combining traditional and state-of-the art teaching methods.
Blended learning has become one of the key concepts in the new educational environment. Thus, this paper aims to provide a clearer image of what blended learning means and what are its models, besides what advantages and disadvantages it can bring to the education system.
