Magic boots that make you lighter than normal. Boots of lightness reduce weight by 4.535 kg when worn, and offer slight defensive bonuses. As they are easy to obtain in bulk, they may be safely used in the wilderness. While they grant a higher weight-reduction than the graceful boots, they do not give an increase to run energy restoration rate.
Items required for this part: Pendant of lucien (given by Lucien when talking to him), the necessary bow listed above (yew or better), items to obtain a boots of lightness (knife or slash weapon and light source), stamina and energy potions for looting ice arrows, food.
The Boots of lightness are weight-reducing clothing. Although they (or some other weight-reducing item) are required during Temple of Ikov, they are still obtainable and wearable by any member, even if they haven't started the quest.
Start the quest by talking to Lucien in the Flying Horse Inn. Tell him that you’re a great hero. He says that he wants you to get the Staff of Armadyl from the Temple of Ikov (located near Hemenster). He also tells you that the monster that guards the Staff, can only be slayed with a weapon of ice.
Equip your Pendant of Lucien and boots of lightness then enter the north gates. You will come to a bridge; you must be below 0 kg to cross! After crossing, open the large door and take the lever at the south end of the room.
