Omnimon Merciful Mode is an Omnimon with green eyes, light blue neon lights in many parts of its body, which were inspired by Kamen Rider and Kikaider, and light blueish white wings which were designed to be similar to scarves, which were inspired by Kamen Rider as well, instead of a cape.
Alter-B is not a direct Jogress, and in its debut in -next 0rder-, it is very much an upgraded form to Zwart DEFEAT, akin to 'Merciful Mode' and regular Omegamon. The official Digimon Card Game also pairs Alter-B as Merciful Mode's counterpart in the Omegamon-themed Tamer Goods Set 2 (you can see their faces in the background).
My opinion of Omnimon Merciful Mode boils down to this. What I Like: I like the design of Omnimon Merciful Mode. I mean, it's pretty much Omnimon with a more bright white color scheme, some blue lines, and a pair of angel wings. But, hey. Simple isn't always bad.
I had a quick question about Merciful Modes "Start of your turn" effect so it reads as "Trash the top card of this Digimon. IF you do, trash the top card of your opponents security stack." So my question is do you have to trash him or is it optional? Is there a way to save him with the X Antibodies is that why the "IF* is there?
An angelic form of Omnimon with white wings that flutter like a scarf. Sensing that some can only be saved by fighting and defeating them, Omnimon’s sadness and resolve transformed it into Omnimon: Merciful Mode.
