The TOT1 (Teacher Online Training) “An Introduction to Online Teaching and Content Development” course is NCVPS’s FREE professional development program for NC public and charter school teachers designed to prepare and support educators as they work in online and remote learning environments.
NCCAT Online courses are self-paced modules. Depending on the course, participants can earn 5 to 15 contact hours. We recommend educators check with their school district to verify acceptance of contact hours from the NCCAT Online courses towards CEUs.
Online Professional Learning. As technology expands the opportunity for online professional learning reaches to a near global scale, teachers now have access to a wide array of professional learning experiences.

The North Carolina Educator Effectiveness System (NCEES) houses professional learning opportunities for NC public school educators. Courses support the NC Professional Standards and the Digital Learning Competencies for Educators.
