2 Μαρ 2023 · This study investigated the effects of an 8-week online positive psychology course on happiness, health, and well-being. There were 65 undergraduate students in the course and a comparison group of 63 undergraduates taking other online psychology courses.
1 Ιουν 2022 · Research into the impact of social media use (SMU) on well-being (e.g., happiness) and ill-being (e.g., depression) has exploded over the past few years. From 2019 to August 2021, 27 reviews have been published: nine meta-analyses, nine systematic reviews, and nine narrative reviews, which together included hundreds of empirical studies.
This meta-review, including 34 reviews and a content analysis of 594 publications, summarized the overall meta-analytic evidence suggested a small negative association between social media use and mental health conceptualized using the ill-being framework.

(2017) examined research investigating the relationship between social media and subjective well-being, which refers to the overall evaluation of one’s life (Diener et al., 2009). Subjective well-being is the same as happiness that also refers to attitudes towards the quality of one’s life (Veenhoven, 1991).
16 Αυγ 2024 · This research reopens this debate by using a robust methodology to examine the time series effects of social platform use on users' subjective well-being, psychological well-being, physical health, and financial security. We report a 6-month longitudinal study of 1029 adults.
The present study reveals that the social and psychological impacts of social media use among University students is becoming more complex as there is continuing advancement in technology, offering a range of affordable interaction opportunities.
