The wine is perhaps one of the most complete effort you will ever taste. A great combination of nose, taste and mouthfeel. Sip it slowly, it gets better with time in the glass. The experience is quite sterile but the wine is quite good.
In Napa Valley, there is never a shortage of excellent wines to taste. However, due to the limited availability of tasting at Opus One, we would have to say that it was definitely an unparalleled experience. Where else are you going to taste multiple vintages of Opus One (you can add on vintages as well) and have a chance to compare it to Overture?
