23 Σεπ 2018 · Some of the most sought-after options for 1968-’70 AMXs are the three Big Bad colors. In January 1969, AMC introduced Big Bad Orange, Big Bad Green and Big Bad Blue as optional paints on the AMX and Javelin, covering even the bumpers.

I purchased a 70 AMX one year ago. I do have a picture of what it looked like. Engine has been removed and rebuilt. Body was in very good condition, with the o5 only issue was around the battery area and required a small patch. Stripped it down to the wheels only and was painted. This car must have spent its life in the desert.

8 Φεβ 2024 · There are no included images of the floors but there are several of the underside and the integrity of this AMX appears to be sound. Cars like this are a great find – too often AMC gets short-shrift, and the AMX, in particular, was a pretty daring piece for what was usually cash-strapped AMC.
5 Ιουλ 2019 · The AMX might have been swifter if not hampered by hellacious wheel hop noted by road testers. The Javelin went from contender in SCCA Trans Am racing to champ in 1971 and 1972, admittedly after Ford and Chevy had pulled factory support.
