My preferred order from a narrative perspective then is Feros (urgently under attack), Therum (to interpret the vision from Feros), Virmire (urgent assistance needed) and Noveria (to find the Mu relay).
Some of these will have sidequest items to find and pick up while doing the mission. If you miss an item, check the store in Normandy shuttle bay (Spectre requisitions) to buy the item(s) you missed. Each N7 mission takes about 5 minutes to complete, and takes place in the multiplayer maps.
