An easy clue scroll is a low difficulty Treasure Trail, with a low reward yield. A medium clue scroll is a medium difficulty Treasure Trail with a more substantial reward yield. A hard clue scroll is a hazardous Treasure Trail, which can be very rewarding.
Often, when talking to an NPC, the player will receive a challenge scroll, puzzle box or light box that they must solve before receiving the next clue. The anagrams in clue scrolls do not correspond with the number of spaces in a name; an anagram with no spaces may have an answer with a name corresponding with one or more spaces.
Treasure Trails is a Distraction and Diversion which involves solving clue scrolls, rarely dropped items dropped by the majority of monsters in RuneScape. Clue scrolls contain clues and riddles for the player to solve to eventually find a reward casket, which could contain unique rewards.
During a master anagram a lockbox or towers puzzle maybe be given. These may be skipped by using the relevant puzzle skipping ticket. Solve the puzzle box and talk to the NPC again, or tell the NPC the answer to the challenge scroll, to receive the next clue.
Easy clues generate a minimum of 2 reward spots and a maximum of 4, giving an average of 3 rewards. Medium clues generate a minimum of 3 reward spots and a maximum of 5, giving an average of 4 rewards. The chance of getting any medium-clue-specific item is about 1/3 per clue.
Clue scrolls are the starting point of Treasure Trails - rewarding treasure hunts throughout Old School RuneScape. There are six different levels of Clue scrolls, the higher level ones having a wider variety of rewards.
1 Φεβ 2020 · For any type of Treasure Trail activity, you will need to carry the Clue scroll. If you die and lose the clue, then you cannot get it back. You will have to try to get another one. You can only have one clue at a time, either in your bank or inventory. For Coordinate clues, the following is necessary: a Watch, a Sextant, a Chart, and a Spade.
