  2. EDIT: You can't get all the skills in the game with $. You need breakthrough points to get past the halfway line, and you only get 3 of those.

  3. I was looking through the 10 Character builds I have/want to play and noticed that I pretty heavily favor some skill trees over others. When I broke it down the numbers kinda surprised me. # of breakthrough points spent over 10 builds. 6 spent on Warrior Monk.

  4. Skills refer to active and passive abilities which the player can acquire in Outward. Most skills aid the player in combat, while others can have utility or other benefits.

  5. The Outward class system allows you to be uniquely creative in forming a build. The build you create does not have to focus entirely on melee, magic or ranged abilities. You can create a balanced approach to combat by combining all three pathways.

  6. The Monk, Spellblade and Hunter classes are, in my opinion, completely balanced. Both have very good abilities/passives past breakthrough which are NOT necessary for every build to flourish. Their breakthroughs are also quite good for any build in general, but they are not necessary for late game. I wish all classes were similar to them.

  7. Each of the classes upper abilities are "locked" behind a breakthrough. If you want to use these abilities (and the breakthrough itself), you will need to spend one of your 3 breakthrough points. This choice is permanent and cannot be taken back or switched out.
