I'll list my opinions on which trees are playstyle defining and thus cant be ranked. Then the supplemental trees that can be ranked somewhat. Defining: Warrior Monk for most melees, Rogue for Dagger build, Rune mage for.. rune mage, and Wild hunter for archer.

Tier 2 (Breakthrough) skills: Known as Breakthrough skills. A Breakthrough Point is spent when learning these, and you only have a total of 3 points. Required to access Tier 3 skills on that tree. Tier 3 skills: Can only be bought from a tree once you've unlocked that tree's Breakthrough skill.

Tier 2: Breakthrough Skills¶ Tier 2 skills, also known as Breakthrough skills, cost 500 silver and 1 Breakthrough point each. Players can spend only 3 Breakthrough points per character, and each trainer offers one Breakthrough skill. As a result, you should choose carefully which of the 8 classes you want to specialise in.
Only the “Breakthrough Skill” cost both money and (obviously) a “Breakthrough Point”. Just a heads up though, some skills above the “Breakthrough Skill” you’ll have to pick 1 between 2. These skills that you have to make a choice have like a “line” that connects to both.
