Genji is an inferior character. You can OTP him to T500 but if you were the same skill level as an Echo, Widow or Cree OTP, you would be higher SR with much less of a headache.
2 Σεπ 2023 · Honestly? He’s fine-ish right now in the same way Doomfist is fine-ish right now. People that learn him can run games on their terms, but a bad Genji or one that’s not receiving resources from his team would have much more success switching to something like Soldier or Ashe.
I'd say some of the worst are Soldier, Pharah w/o Mercy, and Genji. I used to main him, but I gave him up for Doomfist and other heroes a long time ago. Genji just has very little value because he's solidly dive-based in a decidedly shield-based meta and he hasn't seen any significant improvements in a long time.
You’re right, he’s not strong at all. In fact, he’s in the top 3 worst heroes in the game IMO, which also include doom and bastion. If you just want to easily learn something, play echo instead. For a beginner hero pool, I seriously recommend Echo, Hanzo, and Cassidy.
15 Μαρ 2018 · Genji is one of the Offensive Heroes, and is arguably the best Damage Per Second duelist in the game due to his extreme mobility, high damage output, versatile Kit, and small hitbox. At 200 health, Genji is quite vulnerable, and, like Tracer, a single wrong move will get him killed in the heat of battle.

Genji let his older brother know that he had forgiven him, but that Hanzo must walk the path of forgiving himself. Now the master of his own fate, Genji chooses to lend his skills to Overwatch once more, returning to aid a world in crisis alongside his former comrades and any who join their cause.
