17 Μαΐ 2019 · One of the problems during the early years of 9mm, 147 grain development was the lack of suitable powders to meet factory specs with "reloader's" powders. Today there are so many more suitable powders. You'll want something in HS 6 range for mid range to factory velocities (980fps Win147 grain).

16 Ιαν 2014 · My manual recommends using the medium burn rate powders for 147gr bullets. Your manual is right. At the risk of oversimplifying, the heavier the bullet, the faster the burn rate of the powder. So a medium-speed powder behind a 147g bullet will behave similar to a fast powder behind a 115g bullet.

You can run near-max loads in these powders and still be subsonic so they might work: Unique: start = 3.2gn, 810 fps, 35.6ksi max = 3.8gn, 956 fps, 31.8ksi Power Pistol: start = 4.1gn, 939 fps, 26.1ksi max = 4.6gn, 1033 fps, 30.2ksi
