When a U.S. Navy P-3C encountered Libyan coast guard vessel Vittoria and its convoy attacking merchant ships in Misrata, AGM-65 Maverick missiles fired by the P-3C swiftly thwarted the Libyan attack, leaving the Vittoria beached.
