Notices are emailed to the most recent email address the licensee has reported to the Board. The Postal Service does NOT forward licenses. (If your license is INACTIVE or EXPIRED, you must submit a reactivation application by logging into your account at www.pals.pa.gov.) The renewal fee is $300.00.
Renew Your License Online. The Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants wants to thank the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for listening to the concerns of PAs across Illinois and implementing electronic renewals for all PA licenses.
In order to be eligible for licensing renewal in the state of Illinois, you must complete 24 hours of continuing education (CE), with three of those hours dedicated to the ethical practice of clinical psychology. The deadline for completing continuing education credits is September 30 of the licensing renewal year.
The Board passes upon the qualifications and fitness of applicants for licensure and determines whether to issue, deny, suspend, revoke, restrict or renew licenses for psychologists. In addition, the Board promulgates a code of ethics for psychologists in the Commonwealth.
