Logo Signs were designed as a motorist information network to help motorists find much needed services. Logo signs are installed along certain sections of Pennsylvania’s Interstate Highway system as well as on many non-interstate freeways.
The Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust was created in 1984 by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The Trust is comprised of seven trustees and a representative from PennDOT and the Department of Community and Economic Development.
The Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the following signage programs: Logo Program — Logo signs are installed along certain sections of Pennsylvania’s interstate system and non-interstate limited access freeways and expressways.
