- About Us
The Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust was created in 1984 by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The Trust is comprised of seven trustees and a representative from PennDOT and the Department of Community and Economic Development.
The purpose of the Trust is to provide the day-to-day administration of the Logo Signing Program and the Tourist Oriented Directional Signing (TODS) Program in accordance with the applicable statutes and PennDOT Guidelines.
Since 1996 and 2008, respectively, Kansas Logos has been responsible for the administration and operation of the Kansas Logo Sign Program and Tourist-Oriented Directional Signing (TODS) Programs for the State of Kansas and the Kansas Department of Transportation.
Logo Program — Logo signs are installed along certain sections of Pennsylvania’s interstate system and non-interstate limited access freeways and expressways. Logo signs identify eligible businesses that are accessible at the exits, and provide a series of trailblazing signs at every turn to specifically reach those businesses.
The Pennsylvania Tourism Signing Trust (the Trust) was established by the Pennsylvania Tourism and lodging Association on September 21, 1984 to administer a Sign Program for the benefit of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the traveling public.
The signs identify businesses that are accessible at upcoming exits and provides a series of trailblazing signs at turns to help travelers reach them. Information for applying for the program is available at palogo.org or by contacting the PA Tourism Signing Trust at info@palogo.org or 877-272-1332.
