The purpose of this guide is to provide simplicity for Worcester parents and residents. Too often we find community members frustrated with the lack of available information, which leads to the misconception of lack of services. As you will discover in this booklet, there are actually many services available in our city and the surrounding area.
Healthy Family Massachusetts provides support and resources for young, first-time parents. Activities available include workshops on parenting skills, playgroups, and other social events. Parents can sign up for the program during pregnancy, and the program serves families with children up to 3 years old.

Ascentria’s Young Parent Living Program serves low-income, single, teenage mothers and their small children who might otherwise be homeless, living in unsafe situations or substandard housing.
Flourishing Families is a 6-week, supports and skills-building program for parents, guardians, and caregivers of young adults. This unique program supports individual and whole family healing and growth through small group workshops, individualized coaching, and monthly booster sessions for continued support.
The Family Caregiver Support Program is free. This program can help you care for a member of your family. A Caregiver Specialist will create a plan and give you tips and support.
