I have a JMB363 card in my PC. It was detected fine in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 with a standard IDE driver. Not so in Windows 10 but it can easily be fix but manually selecting the driver.
28 Νοε 2009 · After I had installed Windows 7, I bought an esata Thermaltake Blacx and it was not recognized. I had to enable AHCI in the bios (which then crashed my Windows 7 system at boot time). I then (from Safe mode) changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci to zero(0) and re-booted.
3 Αυγ 2013 · go to task manager (control + alt + delete) --> Go to NEW TASK --> click BROWSE --> paste C:\Windows\explorer.exe on the path bar. If your icons have disappeared right click your start menu and choose the icons you want on your desktop.

17 Σεπ 2009 · I have added a PCI caed to my Asrock motherboard so that I can use my ESATA external HDD. The problem is that it is not always picked up, freezes my PC, or make it extremely slow and when it picks it up it changes the names of my other HDD's.
