Open the test or quiz from your Course Home page or the Homework and Tests page. Install LockDown Browser, if necessary. If the test or quiz includes automated proctoring , install the proctoring application, if necessary, and set up monitoring.
Using LockDown Browser to prevent students from opening applications or other browser windows while they are taking tests or quizzes online. What is the LockDown Browser, and how do I use it?
Select the test on the MyLab Course Home page. When prompted, check your browser and install the LockDown Browser, if necessary. Take the test or quiz, as usual. If your instructor allows it, you can click the calculator icon in the toolbar to use the LockDown Browser's built-in calculator.
Students may be able to open any test that requires the use of LockDown Browser from a regular browser to access the download link. The download page provides information on system requirements and a quick overview video.
6 Μαΐ 2024 · Student is taken to the Google Chrome extensions page and installs the Pearson LockDown Browser extension. After installing the extension, the student can now launch and complete their test or quiz.
