Our psychiatry inpatient program is a family-centered setting focusing on crisis stabilization, intensive evaluation and short-term treatment for problems affecting children and adolescents, ages 3 through 17 years. Our unit serves patients who require 24-hour care.

The Neurobehavioral Unit at Kennedy Krieger Institute is a 16-bed inpatient unit that serves individuals with developmental disabilities who are self-injurious, aggressive and displaying other severe and highly treatment-resistant behavioral disorders.
