Has anyone here worked for Penske as a management trainee? I am graduating college soon and it is my only job offer at the moment. I really want to work in the supply chain/logistics field so it seems like a good place to start, but I’ve gotten kind of weird vibes through my interviews.
Complaints I see: high turnover, work over 40 hours a week (position is hourly pay), terrible management (I see this one a lot in many different locations so i wonder how promotions/trainings work there), and that its hard to actually get promoted.

Also answering any questions not job related, but rental related if anyone has any! I’ve worked here for a few years. Run. Takes forever to get promoted. Promotions based on diversity and fitting into click. They expect you to move. Weekend work. Inconsistent schedule. Very controlling management.

Near me penske has an auto parts account and an Aldi account that I know of. They bought black horse carriers and took those over. My brother does the auto parts and says it's the easiest job he's done as a trucker.
